My Jacket

I pulled into a gas station this morning to fill the tank on my bike. It promised to be a pleasant day and I figured I'd be taking a long, 100 mile lunch break today. As I was pumping the gas, a lady came up to me and pointed to my leather jacket and chaps and yelled "Do you know a cow was murdered for your outfit? What do you have to say for yourself?"

I turned to face her and stared at her for a bit. I stopped pumping (the tank was full), put the hose back and locked the gas cap. As I was putting on my leather riding gloves, I took a few steps towards her and in a low voice said "I didn't know there were any witnesses. Guess I'll have to correct that oversight."

She turned pale and quickly decided she had somewhere else to be. I rode off looking forward to burning most of that gas during my upcoming lunch hour...
